I thought they would work well because they take your hair well. However, my hair is dry and brittle. I used them to get bigger curls. I had a problem untangling the curlers out of my hair; My hair was sticking to the silicone roller, pulling my hair out and creating a mess that I thought would keep my hair tidy. Sleeping was a problem with the net stuck to the pillow without the net was a disaster. I think this is best for people with silky or greasy hair and not dry hair as long as you don't put too much product on your hair to allow it to slip off the curlers.
