I bought this unit for my 6.5 diesel. Plus acDelco 15-80690 Duramax composite fan blades. The 6.5 is notorious for cooling issues, with these two new parts my temps never go above 200F with 195T stats. There is a thread on TheTruckStop.com about modifying this clutch to engage a little earlier to keep your rig cooler when towing on hot summer days.
