I have medium-thick, wavy hair and was excited to try out the ALURAM Coconut Water Based Curl Shampoo. The scent was lovely and reminded me of vacationing in the tropics. However, I found that the formula left my hair feeling stripped and somewhat tangled. While the shampoo did define my curls fairly well, I had to use a lot of conditioner and leave-in products to make my hair feel moisturized again. I would recommend this product to those with very oily or fine hair, as it is a clarifying shampoo and may be too harsh for those with more coarse or dry locks. One positive note is that ALURAM promotes hair growth, which is always a plus in my book. Overall, I would give this product 3 stars out of 5. While it had some positives, I don't think it is the best option for my hair type.
