Use in homemade candles?

The product description specifically states that a small amount of this powder can be used in essential oil candles. I bought this product to use in our homemade soy candles - it made the color of the candle wax shimmer so beautifully while we made them and I was so excited! Unfortunately, mica powder is one of the main ingredients NOT used when coloring homemade candles - it clogs all candle wicks and destroys them 20 minutes after lighting.
