Simple and easy to use, so handy for professional looking brochures

I have bound a large number of small brochures (58 pages double sided, so 29 sheets of paper) and a few large brochures (200+ pages). The instructions weren't very clear, but Google (as usual) helped clarify. For small booklets, make sure the depth adjuster is fully inserted (see photo) otherwise you will have trouble turning the pages. Punching, up to the recommended limit (20 sheets of plain paper, less for cardstock), is easy enough to punch multiple stacks of each booklet. Just remember to make sure the pen is fully raised to release the paper. I want the base to be heavier or weight can be attached to it. The machine moves when you pull the handle up. It's important to remember to empty the tray, which will get confetti-like pieces when you punch holes. I found I had to do this every 400-450 sheets of paper (again, some were card envelopes). The spool inserter takes a little practice to get the right pressure and angle to thread the spool, but once you've done it's quick and easy. In less than 3 minutes I was able to put bobbins in 20 booklets. You must start the bobbins manually as instructed and this is faster for all booklets than using a bobbin inserter to finish threading them. The crimping tool also takes a little practice to find the right angle, but it's as easy as getting the hang of it. Remember that oil will come out of the joint. I put a piece of tape on the circle so it doesn't get on the booklets while I work.
