Review on πŸ•οΈ GigaTent Portable Folding Camping Cot - Elevated Adult Tent Bed with Mattress Pad and Carrying Bag, Lightweight for Indoor and Outdoor Use by Terry Myers

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Really bad good for me

This item had apparently been wet, as there were 3 or 4 RUSTY springs (as well as 5 that had come out of the holes and were VERY difficult to get back in. I needed it the next day, so I did not have time (or money) to ship it back. The pad had also absorbed water, but since I had put a foam pad on top, I did not know until I started to fold it back up after the first use and there were several small spots that had seeped into the pad cover. There are no braces to prevent the legs from folding, until there is weight on it; even then, I was waiting to crash down in the middle of the night. The most disappointing part, however, was the height. Someone had asked a question as to the distance off the ground, and this cot does NOT stand 18" high--it is 14" at the most. I am a 61 year old cancer survivor and the neuropathy in my feet makes it difficult to get up from the floor, which is the only reason I wanted a cot. I will not order anything in the future that I cannot easily return. Lesson learned.

Pros
  • really nice - storage bag is nice
Cons
  • Not suitable for use in extreme weather conditions
