I've had the IBOSAD crimpers for a few months now and have been using them for some basic plumbing work. However, I have not used it to crimp a T-fitting. I just read some reviews that said this tool should not be used to crimp the center "T" connection. I pulled out the tool and the tee and found that it can definitely be used on the middle port of a tee, you just REALLY need to plan ahead. The middle joint must be made first or second as the tool will only allow the fitting to go into the tool in one direction as shown in the photos. Yes, it hurts a bit, but I'm happy to trade it in for a few thousand dollars in savings. Note that you absolutely cannot use this tool on a tee if the other two fittings are already upset. In the VERY worst case scenario, crimp a short length of tubing down the center of the "T" to gain better access to the connector. Yes. It would be nice if it had a better fit, but because of this limitation, feel free to buy this great tool.
