This is a good skull model - true to scale/life size, decent casting (small shiny artefacts that can be easily removed/sanded off), appears solid. (This is a replacement for one I received in the 80's but was lost in the early 00's.) My original skull model had more separately molded parts (which required gluing but represented the nature of these bones a bit better), but this one has a spring to hold the jaw (no elastic) and the silicone "cartilage" on the jaw loops is good. The old model only had 4 plastic pins to hold the top of the skull (which broke off) while the new model has 6 plastic pins and 2 magnets which is a huge improvement. There are also different stages of wisdom teeth (on the left they are complete, on the right the upper one is partially formed and without the lower one). staining), but I think it will soften over time.
