While the sandwich maker remains chilly to the touch, the panels quickly warm up. I made warm sandwiches and shawarma, and everything was ready in a very short amount of time. The panels are non-stick, so nothing will attach to them; after use, I just use a damp cloth to clean them down. It is not bulky and does not take up a great deal of space in the kitchen. The construction quality is also satisfactory; there are no squeaks or dangling parts. My needs were met, and I would encourage anyone seeking for a product of a similar nature to make the investment.
