I had this huge 4TB backup drive that I removed from WD MyCloud. As I always try to reuse hardware, my first attempt was to use an old external drive case to house a 4TB drive. I could only access 2TB on the old hardware. Enter the RSHTECH hard drive enclosure. Pros: After opening it, it took me about 5 seconds to insert the drive, replace the lid, plug it in, and access the entire 4TB. This is the fastest update I've ever done. And I have more than enough disk space to back up two or three computers. Also, no drivers need to be downloaded. Cons: I mistakenly started loosening the screws from the bottom, thinking that was the way in. Oops. Read the instructions because all you have to do is remove the top. Doh! It's not really a scam - more of an inept user. Tip: I attached a rubber stick to the bottom of the legs. This ensures the disc doesn't slide off the glass surface on my desk and also minimizes any noise or vibration. The drive I used was already muted so it wasn't making much noise at all. It will definitely be quiet now.
