Nothing was fastened to the interior of the seat since the thread was either damaged or not produced. It's a good thing there's a tool because my spouse had to re-thread the thread. Unfortunately, the wedding needs to be closely watched, or else an extra item needs to be packed, because one of the mounts (seals) was not pierced. The chair itself is not suitable for those with a large frame. worth remembering; it works just well for me but is a tad snug for my hubby. The finished product is a fantastic chair.
