works but maybe some loctite after assembly

For a lighter slide hammer it all works pretty well. The blade holding head is somewhat sharp-edged, which can cause the blade rods to corrode if care is not taken to ensure that the blade is properly seated in the hammer head. It also happens when you pull your tongue at an angle. I would recommend a little Loctite on the threaded parts as the parts will loosen after half a dozen pulls. No big deal and a quick fix if it's annoying. The flat black inlays look lame compared to the dimpled colored inlays. Get a real glue gun with at least 60W for applying glue, a 100W glue gun is highly recommended. Day and night difference in adhesion and tear strength with standard hot melt adhesive.
