Essential, no question. I used it to install a Stebel Nautilus horn and it probably saved me hours. All you have to do is connect the relay that comes with the horn to the wire connector in this kit. It made the process easier than you would think. Even for those who understand wiring, it still helps a lot. Also included is a much needed guide which the Stebel horn didn't have. This kit does not include a 20 amp relay, but it does come with a Stebel horn already included.
