It's an easy system that gets results, with ease of use comes less time spent worrying about spam filters not allowing your message through or getting flagged for being too salesy/too needy! Not having any automated drip programs that allow me to be notified when someone has opened my email (or even clicked). I like that we are able to reach out directly with the client at their request rather than having them find us through someone else or via an online search engine (e.g., Google). This helps ensure our credibility, but it's not always easy for clients when they're used to reaching people who want to sell things to them! We've been very successful using this method of direct contact with new leads/customers, even though many times these contacts may seem "out-of-the blue.".
