I have an electric wine opener that also has a vacuum suction function. I like buying bottles when I travel, especially with Covid, but I don't usually drink a whole bottle myself, so thought I'd give this more compact, standalone option a try. This 2-pack comes in minimal packaging and is easy to use. Just keep pushing until the stopper is about 1cm up. There are also markings around the perimeter if you want to mark which day you opened it. This works well with any standard wine bottle. This is something that deviates from not giving you much wiggle room. I've tried a wider mouth sake bottle which still sucks but doesn't fit as tightly. This has not been found to work with champagne bottles and I agree as most champagne bottles have a wider neck than the sake bottle I tried.
