This is a strong, flexible, well-built bike lock for my non-intensive urban world. The chain is heavy, cannot be cut with standard tools, and is flexible and long enough (47 inches) to connect both wheels together or attach the rear wheel and frame to a thick luggage rack. You get two keys, and Kryptonite will send you two more if you sign up with them. The lock works easily and does not bind. The chain is covered with fabric to protect the bike. It is easy and convenient to use. I was agonizing over this purchase, wondering if this lock would do for my suburban/rural setting. I leave my bike in the woods or on the beach when I swim, or in the store when I go shopping. Nobody but a dedicated professional bike thief would be willing to pick this lock and steal the bike. My favorite lockpicking advocate liked the locking mechanism but was puzzled by the 7mm chain. Now that I have this lock, the general deterrent offered by the Kryptonite Keeper 47 lock doesn't bother me at all. Very satisfied. It's a mighty castle.
