Color is more 'rusty' than 'deep red' than I expected; the ribbon is brown. The side pockets are too small to hold a phone or water bottle, although a large smartphone fits easily in the outer pocket. The largest compartment has an inner pocket with a zip and a side divider. I was hoping to wear this cross chest but for this I will clip both bottom clips to the same side. Does not work as a belt pouch. Overall it should suit my needs well - as a larger purse/bag to fit my own stuff, plus baby snacks, electronics, etc.
