Received mine today and opened it up. It was loaded so I checked the sample tunes and they sounded really tinny, no bass. I looked for EQ options and all they came up with was resets, I didn't find an adjustable EQ which is disappointing. All presets are bad, high and nasal. I used the same headphones as my super cheap WiWoo player, which has an almost identical body and control circuitry, and there is one noticeable difference. The cheap ones sound a lot better and have lots of bass. Although AGPTEK sounds a little better than Bluetooth speakers, it is still very unsatisfactory. AGPTEK's build quality and control options seem to be much better, Bluetooth works well. It will be exactly what I want, compact listening for outdoor work and gaming when I don't want to carry an expensive device around. I just can't live with the sound quality. I'm not sure what to do if I can't find a firmware update or something that adds an equalizer option. Must go back. Too bad the WiWoo power button was so cheap it stopped working. It sounded really good although the controls were a complete mess and a pain but ok to just turn it on and listen to my random tunes.
