Review on DELUX 2.4G Wireless Vertical Mouse - Ergonomic Optical Design, 1600DPI, 6 Buttons, Reduce Hand & Wrist Pressure - M618C-White by Kirt Phillips

I'm a woman with medium sized hands and long fingers and I found this mouse to be the perfect size. One of the best I've ever held in my hands. Normally, mice are pretty small and not at all comfortable in my hands, but this was just the ticket. Both the length and the width are designed for a comfortable fit in the hand. Also looks great at night with lights! (See attached night photos). For those wondering, it goes to sleep when you're not using it. There is an on/off button. One AA battery required. My thumb doesn't accidentally press the forward and back buttons, so that's a good thing. I've had this problem before with ergonomic mice, but not with this one. And this is where I ran into a problem and almost sent the thing back. When I plugged it into the USB port, I got a message saying it might not be recognized or recognized. So I tried another laptop and got the same message. Went over and tried this on my work laptop and got the same message again! At this point I decided it wasn't working, so I plugged my old mouse back in and was ready to grab this one. I decided to give it one last try, and this time it worked. I eventually found out that my old mouse had to be plugged in for my laptops to recognize it. Once this mouse is connected, you can unplug your old mouse from the USB port. I find it quite odd and for the price you don't have to do any of that to hook it up. 2 star deduction for the above issue which almost resulted in a refund request.
