This lantern is pretty good. I like its small size, and it puts out a decent amount of light. The best feature for me is the fact that it is rechargable.I bought this mainly for the lantern function, but it is nice that I can also use this as a flashlight. It also has a red light lantern and a flashing red light that could come in handy in an emergency. The only thing I don't like about the red light lantern is that you first must cycle through high and low flashlight then high and low lantern before you can get red light. If you are trying to keep your night vision, you just killed it cycling through the other lights. I know, you can just shut your eyes and click 5 times, but sometimes I forget, okay?Another thing I appreciate is that you can lay it down and all the nubby stuff prevents it from rolling away or off a table.It seems to be pretty water resistent, but I haven't used it in any sort of bad weather yet, so I'm not really sure.Cant wait to go camping or fishing again!
