It contains a lot of useful information that is more than worth the price. But I'm only giving it 4 stars because some of the sections are clearly generic and may or may not apply to this particular vehicle. For example, the section on the cooling system talks about a radiator cap (my Silverado doesn't have a cap on the radiator, just a cap on the plastic tank). It is also recommended to drain the radiator by opening the drain hole on the bottom of the radiator, but GM removed the radiator drain hole to save money so on my truck I have to remove the bottom hose to drain the system. I haven't gone through the whole book, but there are probably other questions in other chapters. Also, it would be nice if the book mentioned that my truck doesn't have any screws for bleeding the cooling system on the engine, just to save me the trouble of looking for them. Well, read the procedure and make sure everything applies to your vehicle and if anything seems wrong, know the book could be wrong. I recommend buying the book and then supplementing it by searching the internet for more information. In between you will find out everything you need to know.
