Works well. I use it on my Sennheiser HD 558 headphones instead of the special cable and connector that came with it. This requires a slight modification of the headphones. The genuine Sennheiser HD 558 cable comes out of the 2.5mm plug in the left earcup but has two small protrusions that protrude into the jack/jack hole and into two slots on the 2.5mm plug end of the cable snap. uses several different sized drill bits, increasing by 1/64" each time, from 12/64" to 15/64" to scrape away these protrusions.
