This watch was intended as a Christmas present for an ex-Marine. I received this watch today, a week before the promised delivery date. The packaging left a lot to be desired as it only came in a padded envelope rather than a more protective box. The watch was also not working when it was delivered. It would be nice if there was at least a small piece of paper or instructions on how to open the lid and how to set the time. As the watch appears to have come with a dead battery, a manual would have been nice too. How to open the back cover to replace the battery. I was finally able to get to the battery and swap it out (luckily I had the right size spare) to make the watch actually work. I guess the "take away" is because "what do you want for ten bucks. Instructions and also a working battery?"
