At first we spent money so bought one for our newborn. As our fourth child, we tried many dresses with our other children, including dresses from other well-known brands that had elastic at the bottom. These dresses cost a little more. The material is soft, much better than the 3 packs you get and the clasps are easy to undo in one motion a few at a time if you are sleep deprived and can barely see straight. I love that you can open the dress with the buttons so you have plenty of room to change diapers without the elastic cutting into little tummies or getting dirty all over the place. We loved it, we got enough so we had one for each day of the week. Our little one is only 2 months old but I will definitely be ordering the next size up when the time comes as we love the comfort of these pajamas for our little one. They work great under other sleeping bags!
