I have big calluses on my feet and I don't want to pay someone every time they need a shave. A NOTICE. Please be careful what you are doing when shaving calluses and the like. If you're not careful, you can actually hurt your feet. Anyway, this kit really helped me take care of those corns and I loved that it was an all in one kit that had all the tools I could need for a really good pedicure . The tools are solid and appear to be made of thick plastic. I had no problem with any parts breaking. I like that it comes in its own little carry case and also that the case is compact. Overall I am very happy with the set. I put 5 stars
