This thing is amazing. I've used it twice to make 3 pounds of sausage (6 feet or 10 6 x 1.5 inch links) each time. This is the perfect amount for a family barbecue. After the meat and hog casings were ready, assembling the syringe, threading the casings, and stuffing the sausage took a total of 15-20 minutes. The machine is solid, it sits very well on the countertop with the suction alone and if you use the clamp provided it essentially bolts down. Disassembly and hand cleaning by washing all the parts in warm soapy water was easy and took less than 5 minutes. Finally, with a little care, all of the pieces, plus the 8-ounce pigskin sack, fit back into the original packaging (12" long x 4" wide x 3" wide) for convenient and compact storage. I wish mine Kitchen would be crammed with lots of appliances but it was a really good investment, I will be using this appliance a lot.
