So I start by filtering a lot of products and reviews and end up trying this one. And boy oh boy am I so happy I did! It works MIRACLES! It really takes away the urine smell and you don't even realize we have a cat. Now, as they say, we clean our box twice a day. So if you don't take care of your box, there will obviously be an odor. There is no cure for the smell if you are not aware of it. If you clean your litter box the way you should, then yes, this stuff will completely remove any lingering odors and I think it will extend the life of the litter as it doesn't have a strong odor. The only thing I have to say that I don't like is the fact that it only lasts a month and then the glue just wears off, but the replacement pins on the pads are so cheap it's honestly not a big drop. In addition, this product is cheap, so a complete box exchange after 6 months makes sense anyway and doesn't feel like a crazy waste of money. In my opinion you get what you pay for!
