Went like whales to my Canon 450D, shot a lot on it and was generally very pleased. It's hard indoors - the aperture is small, the high ISO is grainy, and the flash is sometimes very undesirable. In principle, an inexpensive station wagon that shoots well both landscapes and portraits, with macro, of course, worse. I'm not a professional, but for the first experience of a DSLR, the lens is good (if a hobby doesn't take root, then it's not a pity for such a ridiculous amount). With good exposure and metering, the quality of the photo is really above average and a cut above any fancy soap box.
