This is a fantastic center. Others I've used have disconnected from the MacBook when I removed the USB sticks or SD card. It has a nice, smooth feel on and off the climb that doesn't tug on the hub, causing it to shut down and possibly corrupting the transmission to or from the computer. I didn't find this very handy for the case, but it was an easy fix. I just modified my case a bit. After using it for about a week, I noticed a HUGE annoying bug. Wi-Fi drops or freezes when using USB ports. Everything else works fine, Wi-Fi does not turn off. But as soon as you start using the USB ports, the WiFi on the computer just stops working. Nothing loads and it's really annoying to say that the minimum function I use on the hub is the USB ports.
