Review on SAMSUNG HW-T450 2.1ch Soundbar Review 2020: Dolby Audio Excellence Unleashed! by April Smith

There are many reviews of this system with jargon about sound reproduction and quality. To me, the negative reviews come from audiophiles with a lot of knowledge and little money. Comparing this system to a high-end system is foolish. It isn't what it is. What it is is an inexpensive and easy to set up upgrade to standard TV speakers. I'm very happy with the sound from a 55" Samsung 1080P TV that's about 6 years old. I don't have wireless capability on this TV so I'm using an optical cable. I just hooked everything up, the TV to external speakers set it up and go. I went. No big deal. I watched the Disney movie first to rate the sound and was more than happy with it. Before that I had a cheaper non-brand soundbar and a day/night difference. I have a much wider range of sounds and good deep bass at reasonable volumes. Then I watched the nightly news and the game show and the dialogue was much clearer than before. I even noticed how much better the annoying commercials sounded. That's why I bought this system with no other expectations than that. In that respect, this system exceeded my expectations. I have a home audio system for music, so I don't have to t use for music if I don't want to. I think this money is an excellent choice. PS Maybe I missed it, but I didn't find anywhere that said an optical cable is included in the kit. I unnecessarily bought one separately but the one I bought is of a much higher quality. An HDMI cable is not included if you prefer this connection method. As I said before, I don't have a wireless connection to my old TV.
