Review on SUNLU Standard Photopolymer Fast Curing Resin For 4K/8K LCD/DLP/SLA 3D Printer, 405Nm UV Curing 3D Printing Resin, 2000G - Excellent Fluidity & Easy To Use by Bill Dooley

Very nice translucent resin. Prints well and easy to work with.

So far, this is one of the resins I like best. It worked perfectly on my Phrozen Mini 8K and I like the translucency and color. I will probably be printing quite a few Christmas decorations with this!As far as print settings go, I just put the ones that Sunlu recommends into Chitubox and everything turned out ok. The only slight headache is that build plate adhesion was a bit TOO good, so I will likely reduce my bottom layer exposure time a bit for my next prints. For these prints, I used a 40s exposure for the bottom layers, but next time I will probably go with 30 to see how that does. For the normal layers I used a 3s exposure. Ignore the white tips on a couple of the prints, as these are due to me not getting all the IPA dried before curing them, and not the fault of the filament.Another observation on this resin is that the smell was quite minimal. I could still notice it, but much less than my 8K resins and not bad at all. They were also nice enough to include a couple of filters for straining the left over resin after use. I also like the tall narrow bottle it comes in, as it makes it a bit easier to store on my shelf. Finally, I really like the price considering that this is for 2kg of resin.Overall, I really like this resin and will likely be getting more of it (and I plan to try out some of their other translucent colors as well). Recommended!
