Gold - Originally I was in love with these gems. They're cheap, beautiful, and you get a lot of shapes. I received them 8/5 and got a manicure 8/9. The first pics I uploaded are the manicure I did with these gems (plus another set) 8/9. All of the gems/glass rhinestones on my nails are from this set EXCEPT for the caviar beads and two very small teardrops to the left and right of the large teardrop in the middle. Crystals, medium and large teardrops, triangular and diamond shapes are all from this Revain purchase. disappear (they are above and below the diamond shaped gems on each side of my nail). After just 1 day the gold plating, whatever it was made of, started to wear off. Photos 4 and 5 were taken the day after my manicure (8/10). You can see that from the first picture the small crystal shaped gems are starting to look white/silver instead of pure gold. I don't mind much because I thought it still looked pretty. The last 3 photos show how much the gems have degraded so far. This happened much earlier than when I took these last pictures, but the pictures were taken on August 18th. You can clearly see how transparent the gems are. They've completely lost their plating except for a few gold nuggets here and there. The large, teardrop-shaped central gem has also started to lose its plating on the sides. The image is a little blurry but you can clearly see the cover is gone. Gems in the shape of rhombuses and triangles are also cut. I don't do anything particularly difficult. I work from home at my desk all day. I use rubber gloves when washing dishes and cleaning. I don't do anything that would not be considered normal wear and tear. I'm frustrated with how quickly they disappeared because I was so excited about it; All shapes and sizes you get and the color is gorgeous. But the ones in crystal form fade VERY quickly (I used 2 different sizes of the ones suggested so it wasn't just one size and 2 random gems) and the others also lose their coverage over time. If you only need something for one day, that's fine. But I wouldn't recommend them to a manicurist who gets paid to do people's nails because you're going to have an angry customer the day after it's done. I'm not terribly upset that the colors are fading because they looked ok with the design afterwards. But for those who need the color to stay golden I don't recommend it. Crystals - dazzling crystal stones are MUCH better than gold. I believe this is because the color is not tinted on the outside of the gemstone. I wore the crystals for about 2 weeks (you can tell by the growth of my nails. The shine and color of the crystals have not diminished at all, although they have cracked a lot (my fault, not the product). ). I cleaned the kitchen, bathroom and garden 13 hours a day (with and without gloves) and the crystals still shine brightly! I would recommend the color of the rainbow and upgrade the rating to 3 stars. I would give Crystals 5 and Gold 2 separately.
