This product is great for keeping your hot tool and everything around it from getting too hot (especially if you have to pack it in your suitcase at the last minute like I did often do) . The only thing I didn't expect was that it would be so big. It's longer than I expected and wider than I need, but if you have a larger hot tool I think it would help. I use a standard size Chi flat iron. An additional pocket on the front is handy for attaching clips or winding and storing the cord. Overall I am satisfied with the product and use it for travel or for storage.
