Review on Renewed BOSE SoundSport Wireless 🎧 Headphones in Black - High-Quality Sound on-the-go! by Abhi Abzz ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor product, below average quality.

I made the conscious decision to compose a review in the hope that it will dissuade others from purchasing this useless item. In my opinion, ALL of the benefits that the model offers are nullified by the drawbacks that it entails. Purchased for use in sports. I do it on a fairly consistent basis, but not every single day, which means that the headphones have seen very, very light use and are in no way worn out. The headphones functioned properly for the entire duration of the one-year warranty period. After that, we started having issues with the battery's ability to hold a charge and to be recharged. It freezes and will not charge properly. Even the service message regarding the amount of charge contains bugs. For instance, if I charge for two hours and receive a message stating that the charge will be 100%, I start listening and after five minutes if I ask about the charge, then I receive a message stating that the charge will be 60%, which is equivalent to a reduction of 40% in five to ten minutes. Yesterday I was able to charge for a total of forty minutes at 20%. I went to the gym, and when I turned on the message, it said that the charge would be 20%, which meant that it wouldn't charge at all. A charge of one hundred percent was supposedly indicated by the diode glowing green. The headphones do not have a bad feel to the touch, and they do a good job of sitting in the ears, but overall, they are not that great. It is true that the sound quality will immediately suffer if even a small amount of dirt or debris gets into your ear when you are riding a bike or going fast on a track, as this occurs quite frequently. Now, onto the most important part. During my visit to the BOSE branded service center, an employee informed me that this model is replaced with a new one during the duration of the warranty period, and after that, they do not repair it; rather, they dispose of it and purchase new ones. If you don't believe me, you can check it out for yourself by giving them a call. I purchased them at a discount for approximately 10,000 dollars, and at that time they cost 12,000 dollars. Now 7000. This seems like a lot for something that is meant to be disposable, in this case "ears." At auctions of a comparable level (sound, ergonomics, and reliability), Chinese slag was sold in bulk for between 1500 and 2022. "generous" price reduction (by the way, just imagine how much they buy it in China, if they could easily drop the price from 12 to 7), in actuality, about nothing at all. In general, I unequivocally advise against lending support to this form of deception.

Pros
  • 1. Sound. He is really quite good, despite the fact that he is not the best. In addition, there is a nuance; please refer to the section titled "Disadvantages" below. 2. You have a point when it comes to soundproofing for sports; something must come from the outside in order to make it possible, for instance, to ride a bicycle without being struck by a car. 3. The overall design isn't terrible, but this judgment is already highly subjective.
Cons
  • 1. Continuity of service Or, more accurately, hopelessness. Although this topic has been covered in previous posts, it bears repeating that the headphones are designed to be thrown away after a single use. 2. The revolting "I wash my hands" service provided by BOSE 3. Communication with the phone is lost, which occurs frequently when you turn your head away from the source of the sound, particularly if the charge is low; in my experience, this occurs almost always when you turn your head away from point 4, however. 4. There were issues with the battery 5. The product is still significantly overpriced even after the price was reduced to 7,000.
