It is very interesting that the legendary F. Dick products are becoming more available to the public as culinary schools and establishments buy cheaper/lower brands for their programs. As a young chef I only saw a handful of F-Dick knives in my possession. Instructors and chefs and now I understand why they are so highly valued and valued as the most important tool a chef will ever have. just like the others, with a lower price for the same fantastic workmanship and a lifetime guarantee.
