Lights up fairly well on new batteries but dims faster than desired. It's sturdy enough for my quick morning look at work, but won't stand up at any angle; So unless you can get all the makeup straight (I love the tilted eyeliner and the lash mirror), it doesn't hold up as well as I had hoped.
