Review on 🔧 Revive and Restore CDs and DVDs: SkipDr Manual Disc Repair System, Single by Chris Drury

I bought this product at a discount of about $5 Ps1/Ps2 give me games that were pretty badly scratched; so much so that I couldn't play them on my console. I decided to optimize the discs to make them playable and bought this product. True, it took me some time to get used to it. You have to press down on the disc until it clicks into place; this can be strange, especially if you are used to being careful with discs. However, once you get past that hurdle and follow the instructions, you will find that you have a greatly repaired drive. It takes some time for a full rotation. ALSO I found the grip completely unreliable as my grip popped out whenever it met resistance. Because of this, the process took much longer than expected. It is understood that the handle is lengthened to make the device more portable, but this leads to the problem mentioned above. That was my only big problem. I have ONLY tested this product with Ps1 and Ps2 discs so I have no idea how well it will work on other discs. Keep in mind that a cleaner may not fix everything; Some cutscenes would still stutter or not play properly, but most importantly the game itself went from being unplayable to being very playable. It's worth trying to restore them if your drive is in pretty bad shape. Especially if you are an avid flea market treasure hunter like me.
