Review on 📻 Sangean WR-16SE 45th Anniversary Dark Walnut Wooden Cabinet Radio with Bluetooth, AM/FM, Aux-in, USB Phone Charging, and Rose Gold Face Plate by Ryo Flora

I bought this for office use mainly for the looks. The solid wood body looks very nice. When it arrived it had a few small signs of wear but otherwise everything was fine. The unit is heavy and durable, not cheap plastic like many radios are now. The sound is ok - nothing special - it's a single speaker mono radio. Nothing more. We have a local FM radio station which I usually listen to and it does well but at times it seems to drift and get a little fuzzy. I have extended an external VHF antenna as far as possible and will try to wire the VHF antenna to see if it improves things. AM is terrible, but I rarely listen to AM. A minor annoyance is that the tuning seems to change when I turn the radio off and on again, although I tried very hard not to touch the tuning knob when turning it off and on. on the. I have to reset the tuner to get the best reception for the same station I was listening to when I turned the radio off. All in all a very average radio in a very nice wooden case. Update: T 6ft long VHF antenna has slightly improved reception.
