I bought these thinking they would be good fishing boots but ended up sending them back. If you have even slightly wide feet, they won't fit. I've never bought wide shoes in my life, but these guys didn't fit me. The straps were so tight my legs swelled up after a few minutes of wearing them. I wear my share of strappy heels with no problem, I really don't know why they were so tight. As for the length of the foot, they were true to size and looked just like the picture.
