Review on Penn Plax Scratching Leopard Print by Marcos Woody

My cats love this stuff. However, I don't. The ball spring came loose from the base when our cats (kitten, 3 months old - they are small) first tried to play with it. We had to use gorilla glue to attach it to the base where it will stay. The scratching post is detachable so you can flip it over and use the other side - great in theory, but there's no way to attach it so cats can knock it over and drag it around the house (like our dog does). . The piece at the end of the notebook that was supposed to hold it fell off the front about two days after we laid it out for her. The only thing that holds up at all is the rope wrapped post and the rope wears out terribly. I probably should have gone to petsmart and bought something to see in person as this was a huge disappointment.
