Hey folks, is it really hard to understand how a thermostatic heater is supposed to work? Once again I have a heater that is not doing its job of keeping the room at a constant temperature. Again, the thermostatic option is only limited to the noisiest and most energy-intensive options. For example, if you only install the top heater (which is quieter than normal), you won't be able to use the thermostat. If you use the sleep mode, you cannot use the thermostat. Ah. Why? Of course it would be nice if the heater quietly kept the room temperature. Even if you use a thermostat, it doesn't seem to work automatically. Once the temperature is reached, it will turn off and remain off until you press any button. This includes lowering his temperature, causing him to instantly revive. But he won't do it himself. If I want to turn the heating on and off throughout the day, I don't need a thermostat. Again, if I'm really missing something, let me know. But now I have three heaters side by side for comparison. One is over 20 years old. Only he managed to complete the main task. It might not necessarily be quieter, probably about the same, but the rumble is less intrusive than the others. And it's not smooth; The controls are mechanical, but in general it achieves its main objective. New - no. Simply adding features to a beautiful device to create an impressive marketing list is no substitute for understanding how they all work together. Yes, you fooled me again, but not for long. Small design aside, would it really cost more to get it right? How about some really useful features that bring us into the 21st century? Like planners and the like. Or use ultra-quiet fans like the 7dB fans you can get in other products (so quiet you can barely hear them from 12 inches away). I'm giving it one star because it doesn't do the simplest job, so I won't go into other aspects. I think I'm discouraged enough to give up the unicorn quest.
