Not great if you've ever had to move your MacBook. But IDEAL if your computer stays at the table.
I bought this as the first thing I saw as I need to transfer data from my old MacBook Air to the latest generation ASAP. Apple got mad too, messed it up on ALL USB drives, but I digress. Is this device great for a setup that stays where it is, I don't know, on the desktop? But the laptop is designed for travel. The base does not remain protected when attempting to move location. He has great connections. I run fitness classes from home and need to move my laptop around for different workouts while it's connected to ethernet, lights etc. your computer and less heavy to move around.
