Review on Sony HX400V Compact Digital Camera: Capturing Brilliance with 50x Optical Zoom in Black by Gede Agung ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall it's good but I expect more, there are some downsides.

I own a Sony Alpha A55 DSLR with lenses: 28 mm. f2.8, 18-55mm. and 55-200 mm. The DSLR is not new for a long time, but in comparison with this "fart" it is much better executed, at least holding the A55 in your hand you feel a solid and high-quality thing, which is only a pleasure to use. And when you take this fart, tears well up in your eyes, and when you see the result from this camera, you want to cry :)

Pros
  • 1. Ultrazoom 2. Video (under sufficient light) 3. Lens
Cons
  • 1. Photo quality can hardly be called good. In bright, sunny weather, it shoots more or less well, if, for example, you shoot a landscape in a park where the lighting is a little worse, the photos are flooded with noise. This also applies to video in low light. Unfortunately, the lens does not pull this matrix! A marketing ploy to put a good lens on such a small matrix and smother it with built-in photo processing, which suits soap and watercolor in the photo. 2. Body. Very flimsy, in the hand the camera is a toy. Holding it in your hands, there is no certainty that this is an expensive good thing, unfortunately.
