When cleaning your nails, gently buff, wipe with alcohol and apply these wraps; Then don't wash your hands for a few hours and let the wraps dry completely by applying before bed (or give them a few hours), they will last as long as you like. A few days after I applied them, it was my fault. I put them on and washed the dishes a few hours later. Not a very good idea. The price is so friendly that I didn't cry much because of the ruined set. I just applied another set after washing off all the old glue with a little more alcohol. I apply them very well and stretch them to fit as if they were painted on. An hour to 30 minutes passed. I have arthritis and have found that using slightly sharp glass nail files helps me when applying bandages. Then I go over each nail with a rubber cuticle pusher making sure all wrinkles/air are out of the film. I wait until the next day to remove any cuticle overlap, which is less of a problem once I know how they work. There's a learning curve. If you have never made nail foils before, check out Color Street You Tube. These wraps appear to be a little thicker and you need to use a file to cut through them. I can't use my thumbnail. Then read a book, get online, watch TV, or go to bed to give them a chance to tune in. Now I've done 5 sets. I'll see if I can take some pictures later and add them. I'm very active and wear them when I'm gardening, mopping, washing dishes or washing my car and they stay on most of the time. Strong detergents not only affect their adhesion, they tarnish after 4-6 days. So if you want to apply a top coat after curing, this will keep them looking their best for the longest time. Whether I'm using nail polish, gel or this wrap, my nails look better when I give them a little airing in between. Right now it's a week with swaddles, a week without swaddles. I also have to say that I found some of them too bright and shiny. I ended up like they all are so far. I will try to post photos. I've used the ones I didn't think I'd want to practice at first and have been very happy with them. I'll try another set tonight.
