One of Those Better-Buy-It-But-I-Hope-I-Never-Need-It " Kind of Purchases

This is one of those "better-buy-it-but-I-hope-I-never-need-it" kind of purchases. A buddy of mine came to visit a couple of weeks ago and got stuck on the road. (We've had about five feet of snow this winter and, even though we've been plowing, there was about a foot of fresh snow, in which he got stuck.) I dragged out my old 2-1/2" strap and pulled him the last quarter of a mile up to our place, destroying the old strap in the process, soooooo . . . I checked out Walmart and found this snazzy, high-tech, "snatch" strap and bought it, but, as I said, I hope that I never need it.That said, I haven't used it yet, but it appears to be well-made and strong. Stitching looks good. Loops are folded and stitched well, too. It comes with its own storage bag with a sturdy zipper, so I don't have to use a piece of tie wire to secure the strap into a roll. Also supplied are 2 nice looking shackles which are a little tough to get back into the storage bag, but rolling the strap a little tighter solves that issue. The bottom line is that I am happy with the purchase and would recommend that you grab one too, that is if you're not driving a little "roller skate" in which case you would be the "pullee" rather than the "puller"!Montana Bob
