While I wouldn't pay the inflated brand prices I still think these dryer brushes are worth a lot more than expected. This one works and is pretty good at it. Reasons why it didn't get 5 stars: After about a month of use, I really hate where the power/temperature adjustment button is. I hit him all the time. Turns it off with a wrong move up or down or off. It's also hard to know where to move the knob and what setting you have. I only listen to the fan. Works but no design. Does this affect the drying function and is it just me? May be. But it still drives me insane. IMO look for the one with the controls on the cord. Another comment concerns temperature and variability. It gets hot, "low" gets SUPER hot. It's like the same setting as high, only with less air, so = hotter. Unexpectedly. It still needs to be warm to dry, but you can only use 3 chiles for this instead of 5. "Cool" is the temperature I expect from low. Again, I'm only thinking of long-term use. I expected the really cold air to settle and smooth out. It dries great though, my hair is MUCH smoother and straighter than my ceramic round brush and hair dryer. I'm concerned about long-term heat damage and the survival of plastic brush parts, but we'll see. The results are excellent. Would I buy it again? no Only because of the Power/Set button. It bothers me.
