I have a Dell XPS 13 (2015). A few weeks ago I got an error message that the AC adapter wasn't recognized and wouldn't charge my laptop at all. The charger appeared to be intact and the end of the line was still up, indicating power was flowing. I've researched this issue and it turns out to be a common Dell problem and most people seem to have tried replacing the charger to no avail. Many people send their laptop in for repairs. Well yesterday the charger was completely dead so I thought maybe the charger doesn't matter after all. I received the charger in one day and it charges the laptop perfectly. The problem isn't the battery or the laptop/connector.
