Necessary! fits truck body and tailgate accessories

It makes locking too easy! First, it helps prevent your expensive tailgate from blowing away, because yes. It happens! I installed a nice hardcover trunk on my TRD and it really completes this security package without having to pull that weird little key out of the trunk. fob.Install was fairly easy, although it took some effort and time to properly route the cable forward, under the truck, and into the cab to connect inside the driver's desk. A few tedious steps, but nothing overly complicated. Spent a few hours installing it with no rush. It was worth it!
