I needed a new clip for my Garmin Nuvi 1300 for my wearable friction mount. The price was right, so I ordered it. There are two problems with this clamp. First, as others have pointed out, the hole is a bit small to comfortably fit the friction assist ball. I've stopped trying to force it for fear of breaking one of the parts. The second problem is that it's too big to be used with the Nuvi 1300 as advertised. It's probably a good half inch taller than the 1300. I guess they thought the entire 1300 line was the same height. Time to spend a little more to get something specifically designed for my GPS model instead of guessing.
