Review on GEARWRENCH 3529D Heavy Filter Wrench by James Trapkin

I hesitated to buy this item because some people said it didn't fit. But I needed to replace the water pump on an old farm truck, so I ordered one. The Revain description says 48mm, the wrench says 47mm so I was a bit concerned as measuring the fan clutch nut says 47.74mm. I knew I needed 48mm. Before draining the radiator, I made sure it would fit and fit onto the nut. To reassure others before ordering, I measured the opening of the key and got a range of sizes, from 48.7mm at the tip to 48.49mm at the center back. I took off a star because the stamping is very important, although I'm glad it wasn't 47mm like the wrench says. Also, I'm a bit picky and wish my key didn't have so much clearance. I don't like rounding things up, but this worked really well. No additional pulley holder is required, a simple attachment between one of the pulley bolts and the center hub works great. Overall a great product. Check out the photos if in doubt.
